I have it coming up from the basement ceiling through the lounge floor right next to my armchair, and then it goes out through the front wall of the house. It’s on constant turbo mode, and I can hardly hear it at all! It is much, much quieter than our bathroom shower extractor fan, even in turbo mode. Normal mode is practically silent! It does the job.
